We have a very active group of sailors and their families who share the enjoyment of boating at Greers Ferry Lake. Our eclectic nature is our strength. We have members who enjoy the competition of racing and others who prefer to cruise.  Learn more about our club by clicking the link below. We have members who have their own boat and others who crew on someone else's boat. Some of our members have large boats over 40 feet in length, while others have small inexpensive boats less than 22 feet long. As with any group of people, we have members who like to party late into the night and others who retire to their bunk when the sun sets. No matter what your level of experience or your interests, if you enjoy some aspect of the sailing life, there is a place for you in our yacht club. 

Because we enjoy the company of all types of sailors, our club is relatively informal. We are not like what may be the stereotypical yacht club with a fancy clubhouse and members walking around in blue blazers. We just enjoy sailing and socializing together. I encourage you to view our calendar of events for 2010. This year's calendar is a result of input from members so that we match our activities with the interests of everyone. We have activities scheduled on two Saturdays every month January through October. One of the Saturdays includes a racing event and one includes a cruising event. All of these events are followed by a social event.

We strive to keep our annual membership dues as economical as possible. For only $125, you can join us in as many activities as you like and feel good that you are supporting the sailing community on beautiful Greers Ferry Lake. Our membership dues support:

• Membership cards
• Club decals
• Our club website
• Our club mailings
• Our club insurance
• Our club committee boat, slip fee, and racing materials
• Club advertising
• Partial costs for activities and social events
